On the Day of Pentecost those waiting in the Upper Room, as Jesus told them to do, experienced the explosive dunamis power of the Holy Spirit. That kind of power is still available to followers of Christ today because it is the same Holy Spirit and the same holy fire God desires for believers to carry wherever they go in order to transform this earth and restore His Kingdom order.

Anyone who is in debt way over their head knows what it feels like to be in bondage. The American lifestyle is conducive to getting in and staying in debt because people are not satisfied with moderation. They think they want or need more and more just to be happy. God’s will is for us to be free, not live in debt. To get your house in order it requires that you honor God’s order of doing things.

Sometimes when I worship God My vocabulary seems so inadequate. There are no words to articulate what my heart is feeling when it wants to explode when the love of God I am experiencing is so great. I ask the Lord to give me a better way to express my love for Him. He assures me that He reads my heart. Last night in a home group was a time of worship like that. Later that night in my sleep God gave me this prophetic word.

This is God’s divine order He set into motion before the foundation. There is something about being in a courtroom of law that demands one’s complete sobriety. It evokes a reverential fear of the law and justice. Stop and think about who the ultimate law giver is and what His rule of justice is. Are you totally submitted to Him to live out your daily life? Make no mistake about it. The day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord of all. Where do you stand?
