On my morning walk I was especially enjoying a number of very small blue birds flying around. When they were sitting on a tree branch I could see their rust colored breasts. It wasn’t until they spread their wings that I could see their beautiful brilliant cerulean blue feathers. I was mesmerized by the color.

I was reflecting on God’s amazing and infinite creative capabilities. It came to me that these birds were worshipping their Creator when they were in flight. They were operating in the function of flight for which they were designed. They were demonstrating the Law of Lift.

I don’t know anything about aerodynamics or the Law of Lift. It just made me think about our spirit man. We too are designed to soar in the heavenlies. Several scriptures came to mind that  apply to being lifted up in the spirit .

• And I, if I am lifted up from the earth,  will draw all peoples to myself. (John 12:32).

When the Holy Spirit draws one to God by their spirit and they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they are made a  new creation in Christ  in their spirit man. They are cleansed and lifted out of the miry clay and pit of sin and raised to rule and reign with Christ in heavenly places. 

•  Therefore if the Son makes you free,  you shall be free indeed. (John 8:36).

Think about how liberating it feels when one is forgiven of their sins and set free from the shackles of bondage. Being a prisoner of unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, addictions, generational curses,  resentments, jealousy, strife, and countless other sins will keep one trapped in a destructive lifestyle. Being made free in Christ will cause  one to soar and reach new levels of abundant life. 

• Again I say to you that if  two of you agree on earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. (John 8:19).

Coming into alignment and agreeing with God’s Word will absolutely raise one up in the spirit and put one in position to receive God’s blessings and promises.  I have “hooked my wagon” to God through the power of agreement with His Word. That lifts me up to His supernatural realm of glory.

God has led me to My “Sweet Spot” in Him as I publish the words, dreams, visions, revelations, and reflections I receive from Him. I truly am soaring in my spirit  because out of the abudance of my heart, my mouth speaks.  I am saying , “To God be all the glory”.

Lord God, I pray that You lift the spirits of your people and cause them to soar on high as they reach new levels of abundant life in Christ, in Jesus name. Amen.
