WALK THE LINE
The Lord is great and mighty to save. He knows what we are going through every moment in our lives. I was meditating on Psalm 91 today and verses 14-16 were so reassuring to me.
Because he has set his love upon me,
therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has
known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will
answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.
Every day I receive a Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin that I subscribe to from Bill and Marsha Burns. They lead Faith Tabernacle in Kremmling, CO. The Word they send out every week day is always so ”spot on” and very timely. It edifies me tremendously.
I would like to post it today to encourage anyone who is weary in well doing, or discouraged, or who is facing a seemingly impossible situation. When your back is against the wall, stay in Christ. Follow Jesus and “WALK THE LINE” for He will never leave you or forsake you.
My prayer for you
Dearest heavenly Father, I call on Your mighty name of Jehovah Jireh, the great Provider. I ask that You would manifest Yourself and Your glorious provision for all those in need of You this day, in Jesus name. Amen.
Love in Christ,
Nancy Slocum,
“A pen in God’s hand”,
giving LOVE a voice

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — October 22, 2009: The Lord said to set a watch for disappointments and to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23) And, I kept hearing Johnny Cash’s song “Walk the Line” over and over again. Here are the song lyrics – I keep a close watch on this heart of mine I find it very, very easy to be true As sure as night is dark and day is light You’ve got a way to keep me on your side I keep a close watch on this heart of mine Song of Solomon 6:3 I am my beloved’s, And my beloved is mine. Ho, Nancy, for spreading this word even beyond where Marsha Burns had sent it for it is definitely a ‘Now’ word which strengthens and restores the joy from our lives. It is reassuring to know that we are not on this journey alone but many are beside us on the path. When reaching out to encourage another only does that rushing of uplifting comes streaming back upon us. How awesome is our God who alerts us to those destractions along the way, keeping us ever alert and mindful of the stumbling blocks ahead.
Thank you for your prayers.
